Still fully awake after coming back from a hefty buffet at Seoul Gardens. Hehehe...this is my second buffet for past two days. Sunday's buffet was with my ex-university classmates, at Ellenborough Market Cafe, Swissotel Merchant Court Hotel. It was a high tea buffet which lasted from 3.30pm to 5.30pm and the whole gp of us hogged the place throughout the entire buffet timeslot. It was a great pity that I did not manage to reserve a table for the seven of us because the air conditioned area was already fully reserved more than 2 weeks ago! So, we had to settle for the non-airconditoned area where we were under the mercy of flies, birds eyeing for leftover foods and a few angmos smoking at the nearby tables. Fortunately, the weather was quite cloudy and windy, so it was a nice breezy afternoon for all of us.

All of us except me are all currently working, so the main conversation topics were about working woes and pretty office girls. It seems that I am rotting away in nus, achieving nothing in career at all! *sigh...my working career still remains unclear at the moment and my main task is to clear my thesis and submit a paper for the conference. The mixed feeling of daunting work stress and earning $$ had got me abit confused. Given a choice, I will still prefer to remain sheltered in the school environment. However, the feeling of attaining nothing is making me to drag myself out to the working life as soon as possible! Arghh....I am hoping frantically to land in a job with good prospects and salary!!

Tonite's buffet at Seoul Gardens @ Taka was with the post graduates from my research laboratory. The atmosphere was more relaxing and crappy since we are so used to each other's accompany in the lab. The whole night was brightened up with jiawei's laughters and "tenn tenn" speeches. Hee2....glad to have her around otherwise we would be discussing impact mechanics theories among the highly intelligence beings. I lost out to eric in the food fight since I had gone for the high tea buffet yesterday. So quite off-form tonite as I tried to limit myself to a 80% full tank.....I guess at this fragile age, I shld not be indulged in such an intensive buffet season. After the buffet, eric was busy doing business in toilet while we shopped around at taka stores. Hee2...seems like his tank was overfilled! I spotted a few nice shirts but the prices were still at least 50 bucks after the 30% discount....hmm...Realized tat I was at the wrong place to do some x'mas shopping....After digesting away some of loads, we gathered at the tall x'mas tree in front of main entrance for a picture taking session. Quite an enjoyable nite with the labmates! Opps...I guess it is my turn for natural's call now.... :P
